Service Rig Training Program
The Service Rig Training Program was developed in partnership with the oil and gas industry. 

Floorhand training for Well Servicing
This program will prepare individuals for entry level employment on a service rig.  The curriculum will provide individuals with an understanding of petroleum technology and its principles of operation and control.  Individuals will understand the technical aspects of the work, the responsibilities of the work and the importance of safety.   Pre-requisite:  40Hour New Hire Safety Training. 

Training includes:

• Classroom safety training
• Orientation into well servicing and the equipment used
• Five days hands-on training at well service training facility on a full-scale service rig
• Certificate of Completion

Cost of the 40-Hour New Hire Safety Training and Service Rig Training Program is $750.00.

Petroleum Safety and Technology Center
 The Petroleum Safety and Technology Center offers individuals an opportunity to learn skills that will support them at an entry level position in the areas of energy, construction, and general workforce development.
